I love the landscape and the world around us and enjoy painting these strange, remembered or in between spaces in the landscape. Devoid of people, they are quiet and painted in a way that I hope suggests a sort of fleeting moment or memory. The horizon is something I have been specifically drawn to this year, with horizontal lines and empty spaces featuring heavily in my work.
